January 28th- Exploring the Wines of the Northwest Passage, Oregon and Washington with Tom Kenefick from Northwest Core Collection
February 25th- Russian River tasting featuring Louis Foppiano of Foppiano Vineyards, a fourth-generation family winery.
March 25th- The return of Ken Fredrickson, Master Sommelier, presenting Wines of Argentina, including his latest project, Anoro.
April 21st- Dennis Cakebread presents Cakebread Cellars and the Napa Valley AVA (This is a Tuesday event).
May 27th- French Impressionism meets sparkling wines and Sushi. Renoir’s famous painting “The Boat Party Lunch” was our inspiration for renting the Boat House at Washington Park for our annual Champagne & Sushi kick off to summer. This is a charity tasting benefiting Project Pave, providing mental health counseling to abused children from low income families.
June 17th- Rhone varietals in Santa Barbara County, featuring Brook Williams, owner of Zaca Mesa Winery.
July 22nd- Food and Wine Pairings at Strings Restaurant, featuring Executive Chef Aaron Whitcomb & Advanced Sommelier Phil Laramore. Strings is one of Colorado’s finest restaurants, a must attend!
August 26th- LoDo Century Pub Crawl/Summer White Stroll, progressive wine tasting and walking history lecture of Downtown Denver by City Auditor and Downtown historian Dennis Gallagher
September 23rd- Dave Moore, owner of Divino Wine & Spirits on South Broadway will present obscure grapes from the Old World.
October 21st- Jay Fletcher and the return of the Magical Brown Bag tasting. Learn the Master’s tricks to identifying wines in a blind tasting and test your knowledge.
November 19th- Claude Robbins, President of the International Wine Guild, will present Australia & South Africa, the battle of two British colonies, apartheid, and the development of modern wine industries.
